Ireland’s Gay Switchboard, in partnership with the Gay Health Network, is pleased to announce that it will be providing a
weekly face-to-face & e-mail support service from Saturday, December 7, 2013.
The service aims to provide the public with information on HIV and other STIs, while users of the Gay Switchboard are invited to have a chat with one of their experienced volunteers in person at Outhouse on Dublin’s Capel Street. Information packs, condoms and free tea/coffee will be available to visitors, and confidentiality is assured by the team of experienced staff.
Those who aren’t able to attend the drop-in service, simply e-mail
email@example.com and any sexual health messages will be answered in complete confidence.
To mark World AIDS Day, the new service will be officially launched this Saturday, November 30, at 2pm in Outhouse, 105 Capel Street, Dublin 1. The launch will also have short presentations on 21 years of the Gay Men’s Health Service, key findings of the EMIS survey, current sexual health trends and community outreach actions. Tea/Coffee and mince pies will be available.
